This is an English language learning site. It follows the Headway Pre-Intermediate syllabus and supplements and extends units eight, nine, ten eleven and twelve. This site is a continuation of the Semester Three Web Site.

It includes grammar, writing, listening and reading lessens and activities relevant to each of the units. There is also a section which related to the HCT Semester Four exam. This section could also be used by students preparing for the Cambridge PET exam.

Some of the most Activities are original and some are a links to external sites created by others in the ESL field.  Other pages relate specifically to local college issues.

This site was created at Abu Dhabi Women's College, part of the Higher Colleges of Technology, in the United Arab Emirates, by Arthur Rush, an English instructor at the college.
